Racism is primarily the blanket characterization of an entire race without basis.

I see people in here all the time call those poor, rural, conservative rednecks racist (and they ARE racist), but tell me how a poor ass cracker who has lived in the Appellechian Mountains for generations have ANY control over those things you say requires that they be "true" racists.

You are confusing discrimination and discriminatory practices with racism.

let me give you an example

im a black man, I live in toronto...sometimes me and my girl drive to pensylvannia and go shopping because it has no tax, and things are generally cheaper

I stopped off to get food and use the washroom in one of those centers in the middle of no where

I go to the counter...me and my girl are both dark skin. almost an akon color

and theres this white family...white man, white wife and wife kids

kids were minding there own business..wife was eating her food. white man was staring.

and you know when you meet eyes, usually someone will look away..I felt he was starin, and I turned to him and he kept staring...he gave us a look like we shouldnt be tehre. everyone in the center was white. he looked like a redneck. big bushy mustache...his neck was red and he was wearing like a trucker hat. Yes im wrong for assuming he was a racist...but guess what? i didnt assume until what he did.

you missed the point...i chose a situation where he didnt physically descriminate on me, yet he was still racist

of course I know real racism..do you know how many times Ive been arrested?

do you know I was punched by a white cop when I was 17?

do you know I was unemployed and me and my white friend at the time both applied to the same job. I have a university degree, he didnt. and he got a call for an interview and I didnt? because I have a black name?
