Added the flurry of nationalist race-baiting crap that Trump has unleashed in advance of the midterm elections: openly calling himself a "Nationalist", claiming he will end birthright citizenship, sending National Guard troops to the border to stop a bunch of poor people applying for asylum, and putting out the most racist ad by a presidential candidate in living memory.

If anyone saw something I missed, let me know.
I never watched the campaign ad out of principle. What exactly did it say?

A methhead who had illegally immigrated 15 years earlier (most recent entry was during Bush administration in 2001) shot and killed two cops, talked shyt about it during the trial.

Trump's ad claims the Democrats let him in and the Democrats let him stay (even though Clinton administration had deported him way back in 1997 and Bush was president when he came in and stayed), and then the ad intersperses footage of the murderer talking shyt in the trial with footage of refugee migrants, with a voice saying "Who will they let in next" claiming that the migrants are gonna turn out to be cop-killers too.

They aren't even from the same country. :snoop:

On top of trump wanting to (can’t recall if he actually did) adopt the old nazi tactic of publicly listing crimes allegedly committed by immigrants and publicly parading the victims (this one he actually did)

Apparently Don Lemon is waiting too
I'm waiting for Trump to address all these white male mass shooters going around killing people. He's quick to demonize illegal immigrants killing people but all the time these white males shoot up public places and he says nothing. Seems weird.

Damn, I haven't even been paying attention to how busy Trump has been recently. Someone shout out if I missed anything.

* Trump refused to pull support from U.S. Rep Steve King even after King made several racist statements, met with neo-nazis in Europe, and openly endorsed a notorious White Supremacist running for mayor of Toronto in a no-chance campaign.

* Trump to Abby Phillip, a Black female reporter from CNN, when asked in press conference if he wanted the new acting AG to reign in Mueller: “What a stupid question that is. What a stupid question. But I watch you a lot. You ask a lot of stupid questions.”

* Trump to Yamiche Alcindor, a Black female reporter from PBS Newshour, when asked in press conference if his nationalism encouraged white nationalists: "To say that as you said that to me is so insulting. It's a very terrible thing what you said. Why do I have among the highest poll numbers with African-Americans? That is such a racist question. Honestly, I know you have it written down and you're going to tell me 'What do you think?' That is a racist question."

* Trump to April Ryan, a Black female reporter from CNN, when asked in press conference about voter suppression: “Sit down. Sit down." And later, "I mean, you talk about somebody that’s a loser. She doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing. She gets publicity, and then she gets a pay raise. ... She’s very nasty, and she shouldn’t be. You’ve gotta treat the White House and the office of the presidency with respect.”

* Trump tweet on Stacey Abrams, who has a B.A. in Political Science/Economics from Spelman, Masters in Public affairs from Texas, a law degree from Yale Law, founded three companies, and spent 10 years in the Georgia Assembly including 6 years as Minority Leader: “She is not qualified to be the governor of Georgia, not qualified. Take a look at her past, take a look at her history.” (Brian Kemp, her opponent, only has a B.S. in Agriculture from University of Georgia)

* Trump tweet on Andrew Gillum: "In Florida there is a choice between a Harvard/Yale educated man named @RonDeSantisFL who has been a great Congressman and will be a great Governor - and a Dem who is a thief and who is Mayor of poorly run Tallahassee, said to be one of the most corrupt cities in the Country!"

* Trump on Fox News on Andrew Gillum: "“Here’s a guy that in my opinion is a stone cold thief. If Florida has a guy like that … Florida will become Venezuela. It will be a disaster.”

* Trump nominated Thomas Farr to a District Court, though Farr was famous for being the lawyer behind several of North Carolina's most notorious Black voter disenfranchisement efforts.

* Daily Stormer founder and publisher Andrew Anglin wrote of the midterm elections: "This changed history. It cleared away any of the remaining fog of confusion about what exactly we are dealing with in this country. This is a race war. Period."

I'm running out of room to list this shyt. :francis:

One I missed from last summer: Trump says in an interview with the British Newspaper The Sun: "I think what has happened to Europe is a shame. Allowing the immigration to take place in Europe is a shame. I think it changed the fabric of Europe and, unless you act very quickly, it’s never going to be what it was and I don’t mean that in a positive way … I think you are losing your culture. Look around.“

And the rest already from this first week of January:

Trump's new nominee for VA Secretary turns out to have had multiple ties to Confederate groups that he had not disclosed. He praised Confederate President Jefferson Davis in a speech at the US Capitol in 1995, gave a speech to a chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in 2009, and was at one point a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans himself, The Washington Post previously reported. None of this was disclosed to the Senate in the list of speeches and group affiliations that he was required to submit for his confirmation hearing. He claims he just forgot.

On the day of Brazil's new far-right president's inauguration, the known racist Bolsonaro immediately rolled back land protections for indigenous people and the descendants of slaves. Trump published a statement effusively praising the inauguration speech. Bolsonaro has in the past called Afro-Brazilians fat and lazy and called African, Haitian, and Middle Eastern refugees the "scum of humanity".

The Washington Post has reported that Trump is preparing to roll back regulations which prevented discrimination via disparate impact. This means that when financial institutions, insurance companies, and local governments are proven to have been engaging in systematic biased treatment against minorities, it won't be enough anymore to show statistically that they're having a harmful or biased impact. Without disparate impact laws, you have to prove that they did it for openly racist reasons, meaning they can now discriminate as much as they want just so long as they keep their mouths shut and don't leave a paper trail of their motivations.

That's the face I had in summer 2016 when I was making the original Trump's Full History of Racism list

Just sickened me all the way through.

I don't even know what my face is for this one...something a lot more jaded and angry that people are willing to support his power at all .

In the course of updating it for the first time in a few months, I ran into this list by a group called Democracy in Color. The list included dozens of examples of racist actions by Trump that I had missed, so many that I had to move the "administration actions that hurt minority communities" section to a lower comment as I had simply ran out of room to list them all. There were actually dozens more examples in that link that I didn't list as I had to end up being picky just to keep the whole thing to a reasonable length.

They only kept updating their list until August 2018, so there's probably been a few dozen more examples since then that I don't have yet.

It seems clear to me that the white nationalists are taking advantage of everyone else's need to be civil in government to mobilize in plain sight with no backlash. When trump loses the election the magas, who have been stockpiling guns for years, will basically turn into a dumb hick army. When are the rest of us going to come to terms with thr fact that mass violence is inevitable?

:comeon:

That doesn't make sense on any level.

Who would organize them? Where would they physically collect? And then where would they go? With what aim? And what would they do when the military stomps them out? And don't think for a second that the military won't stop them out, the generals across the board think Trump is a damn clown and rank means something in the army.

Most of Trump's base is old, and a lot of ones that aren't old are either quiet church folk that ain't about that life or business folk who don't want to do anything to risk their stacks. The % who actually have the capability to pull shyt is a minimal percentage, spread out all over the country, who don't trust authority and don't take orders well. They are nothing to fear.

Most likely scenario is a few lone wolves shooting up synagogues or a larger-scale version of the Bundy Ranch incident where a bunch of crazies all hole up together on someone's property. Absolute worst case scenario, some militia tries to occupy part of the border and declares war on border crossers or someone tries to kill the President-Elect or AOC or Pelosi. But nothing is going to happen which will endanger the average American, much less the average Black American. You are way overestimating them.

That's how I feel. They are not trained to take down no US military or any massive organized unit. They mostly talk and use cowardly actions to get in positions of power in government to harm black folk.
