The west depends on if Ja morant can actually stay healthy, can Murray / Porter Jr can come back from their career changing injuries and can Zion actually stay healthy for an entire season.

Thats one of the reasons I said Celtics and Bucks can do damage the next 3 to 4 years because none of these 25 and under stars (not including the Tatum) can stay healthy (including Luka with his leg injuries). For young stars these kats have bodies like old men.

There's a lot of upheaval but more than anything, it feels like some of the good teams have hit their respective ceilings.

Outside of Golden State,

Clippers and Nuggets will be fine. They're dependent upon their guys being healthy but they can't really add to that.

Mavericks have a superstar but they have no real path towards adding a second one.

Suns and Jazz feel like they've gone as far as they can go.

Trail Blazers are Wizards West and it feels like it's only gonna end the way we all think it will end.

Rockets and Thunder have the means to get better but they're so green that in the short term, they're NBA versions of the Ignite.

Kings and the Lakers have organizational problems that are preventing them from being where they want to be.

Spurs just feel like they're spinning their wheels until the next great big man falls into their lap

So it comes down to the Grizzlies and Pelicans.

Both have big time young talents and picks to improve their situations. Both teams are ascending as long as Ja and Zion can avoid further injuries. I already mentioned the Clippers and Nuggets, but these two teams can add to what they already have and make a bigger impact sooner than later. If they can't, the Dubs are gonna have another 3 year period where nobody's fukking with them.

obviously Clippers are dependent on the health of Kawhi & PG and for the most part, that has bit them thus far, so I gotta see it first before having full confidence in them. However they're right there with GS if fully healthy.

GS is the cream of the crop and I feel like there is room for them to improve too but how they maximize the next 2-5 years will be key.

Phoenix feels like it's about to implode with Ayton's contract situation, CP3's age, and what type of player is Booker really?

Memphis needs a big wing who can get them buckets and d up other teams best wing players...a Middleton type...they should make a call to Toronto.

Denver is all about health but even with Murray back, I don't think their ceiling is as high as GS or LAC...MPJ has to develop beyond being beige Josh Smith

Mavs need to round out their offense but you wonder if Luka is down for that and if he isn't willing to operate less with the ball, then they're gonna need to go the Bron route and get 2 other star/high level players.

Pelicans are building momentum but they need some more time on the stove especially with Zion needing to prove he can be available for a majority of a season.

Lakers are in the depths of hell & Portland is in purgatory.

I won’t write the Lakers off solely because once they get off 0’s deal they still have Bron and AD.

The suns are intriguing because it almost feels like they’ve maxed out their window already in year 2 and I don’t see how letting Ayton go will help.

The Lakers are done, Lebron will be 39 once they get off Russ's deal. AD is injury prone and can't stay healthy. They cant even rebuild or trade for assets because they have no draft picks.

The Suns can be contenders for years if they dont make the same mistake they did with Joe Johnson and let Ayton leave. Aside from Cp3 their core is young and havent hit their primes yet. Its year 2 but people forget that was year 3 and 4 in the league for Mikal and Ayton, year 2 and 4 for Cam Johnson and Booker was 24 and 25

PG and Kawhi are broken they ain’t doing anything.
AD stay hurt we not doing anything.
It’s the Warriors for the next 2 years after this one. Too experienced and too much talent.

I give them one more year, then Father Time will catch up. Wiggins will also be gone after next year.
