-Schoolboy Q dropped a dope album
-Tyler The Creater had the highest selling hip hop album of the year
-Dodgers won the World Series
-Ice Cube dropped a diss song on the Yankees
-Vince Staples, The Alchmist, Larry June all dropped dope projects.
-They Had the biggest viral/cultural moment of the year, with the Pop Up show.

Cause artists need to make money

Look at how q dropped a masterpiece in blank face but had to switch it up with an inferior product trying to keep pace with mainstream shyt

A lot of dope artists in LA that only sell a couple thousand to like 20 thou

Guys like vince are business savvy and multi talented enough to branch outside the music and grow their fan base, but everybody don't hit that stride
