Everything Im rocking with to various degrees. The peaks are up there with almost any Weeknd project IMO

How yall rating brehs work?

1) House of Balloons (one of the best mixtapes of alltime, no filler, everything bumps, tho a couple im not feeling as much as i used to back in 11)

2) Starboy (production is another level, not the most layered but its just bangers on bangers that will age extremely well IMO. Like i said i only dont fukk with a handful of tracks, most of the hate im seeing from this are from nikkas that just dont like Pop/DancePop/Eletrcropop and want that same dreary shyt from top to end, nikkas is grown and a star now. Move on rassclots)

3) Echoes of Silence (most cohesive shyt hes done outside HOB, its just lacking that umpf, peaks arent on the level of most his shyt)

4) Thursday (i get why ppl rank this higher but i dont feel it like that. Felt like a watered down attempt to follow HOB. Flows well and i get ppl love that cinematic shyt with it but eh - but i dont listen to hear shyt like crows cawking and gunshot/girl tears, thats for the

5) Kissland (this gets weird ass acclaim from the cult whitbois/gals and KTT vrigin nerds, its a bit underrated by critics who completely shyt on it but yeah it sonically regressed from the progressive shyt he was making.......Kiss Land is one of the best Weeknd tracks of alltime, Adaptation up there too and Wanderlust bump, better pop feel than most of BBTM easily. Some corny ass tracks on here tho, Tears In The Rain and Pretty are :skip::mjlol:. Production can be too one note and flat at times, its most boring tracks are easily the most boring of any project except arguably BBTM. Its a decent album but the nerds calling this classic is just hilarious with the revisionism. I swear some nikkas tried listening to this shyt 1000 times to try to like it, its not as good as the stans believe. Ppl love the idea/vision and its really good but the execution most the time is :russell:)

6) BBTM (Tell Your Friends, Hills, Often, Acquainted bump HEAVY, ICFMF is pretty good. The rest....70% of this shyt wont age well at all)

Its crazy to me how much The Weeknd is held to such an unreasonable standard by some of y'all fanboys. Musically this album is top notch but just because it don't sound exactly like how y'all want dude's music to still sound y'all deducin points off GP. Anyone else drops the same kinda quality joints I don't think y'all doin this.

Some of y'all won't leave homie alone until he drops an exact copy of HOB soundwise. Like dude done already did that and obvs he's decided to take his career a slightly different path, y'all need to get over that shyt and move on. :why:

this is aight

it's just so out of character..

experimentation is cool but theres so much filler on this

if it was 10 tracks it would have been much better

i aint trippin tho abel gonna bounce back :myman:
