This shyt is pretty dope. Much better than I thought it would be due to the hit or miss leaked songs. But some of those sound better in the context of the album.

I could do without the auto-tune but still.

This is a much more cohesive effort than BBTM. While that album sounded like a collection of singles thrown on one disc, this sounds a lot more like a proper album.

That said, this album is a good ~4 songs too long. A few of the songs easily could've been left off. It drags a bit, especially in its 2nd half.

Need to give it a couple more listens though.

Oh and both Daft Punk productions are crazy good.

I agree. I don't wanna hear 18 songs from ANYONE. Especially in today's ADD generation. I was getting a bit fidgety during the back end.

Lana Del Rey is a less overtly sexual Weeknd......But, all the same themes of depression, sexual angst, drugs, the cost of a life of empty sex and early morning cocaine binges.....

Born To Die, Ultraviolence, and Honeymoon are all incredible.....

I'm still getting a feel for 'Starboy'....Post some thoughts when I have a grasp on how to approach a review.
