I would argue that Bruno Mars is probably even more talented than MJ. He sings better and is an overall better vocalist. MJ got the moves and is obviously a better dancer but that's where it stops. Bruno can dance, sing, write, plays a couple instruments and is a hell of a performer. MJ had people writing his songs and choreographing his dances/performances.

Bruno Mars more talented than Michael Jackson? I done heard it all on the Coli now.

Bruno sharked his whole swag - from the dance moves, vocal cadence/melodies, outfits - ALL from Mike. And has never come anywhere close to surpassing him on any of those levels. And Mike wrote a lot of his music and has 100xs more hits than Bruno.

Given how deliberate he is about aesthetics and sounds with each project, I wonder if he's going to move on from the synth/dream pop stuff. It's probably been the most successful stuff he's done and every feature and loosie since the album has been in that vein but man...it's time to move on.

I give him a lot of credit tho. Released an album during the pandemic, delayed his tour twice, and his shyt was so popular he could tour the album this year with ease. But I'd imagine any artist would be tired of donning the same look for going on two years. Dropping new shyt right before his upcoming big tour makes sense.

I believe he renamed his stadium tour to “dawn is coming” tour or some shyt instead of after hours

so I’m pretty sure it’s a whole different aesthetic/theme accompanied by music
