Might be a reach but, I think the gimmick is The After After Hours, hence The Dawn. I guess the old age is just looking back at past (drugs, misogyny, regrets, etc) & living with the end results. I only say that because of Jim’s song at the end. Again, I’m talking about the gimmick more so than the album itself. I could be completely off though lol

Album cover is still trash though :francis:

I don't know...Listened to it... Nothing special considering his talent...Got the impression the beats are overproduced :lupe:

A fleeting childhood
After the first full listen with no skips, it’s a cool album. AF was a stronger project but there are def songs on here that I’d repeat. I can see people disliking the album off the narration, but it felt like I was listening to a 80s mix from an obscure FM station back in the 80s. As someone mentioned, the song transitions are seamless
:salute:

highlights for me:
Is there someone else - early favorite
Don’t break my heart
Best friends
Out of time

Album felt like the soundtrack to a movie. There's a few duds, especially that Wayne song (:scust: @ letting that bozo get a verse on here).

Definitely not better than After Hours but still pretty good off the first listen.
