Abel is this real life? Hold me brehs 
Almost done. On first listen it isnt perfect,couple misssteps with the production but overall very solid.
Songs like tell your friends and shameless feel like natural progression and are fukking great. If all you want from weeknd is hob over and over this isnt for you. This album definitely is more pop than his earlier work.
Same people that been saying hes wack for months are the same people pretending theyre dissapointed with the album.
On first listen Im giving it a 8/10. But that could go up or down on repeated listens.

I'm digging this on the first listen. Poppy and tranquil.
They still underground/unknown appeal. Weeknd is on the radio every other song.
I don't know why people didn't expect the sound to change, he's in a different tax bracket and on a totally different journey. There's not a lot of darkness when you're making six figures a show. His whole last album was dark and discussed dealing with fame. He's on to the next. Gonna give it a listen when I get in later.
