Not so much their show but those 2 have had some c00n ass movie roles. I wish I had the rant on tape this local black film critic went OFF. All the other white critics were like "I didn't see it that way" :mjlol:

i think the show started out really good but then toward the later years they went overboard with the humor and it did become c00nery buffoonery but when it's all said and done, what do y'all hold this show to? classic or c00nery buffoonery? :patrice:
What c00nery did you see on the show?

Personally I thought the show was a classic and was one of the better tv shows ever considering a lot of the interactions on the show was improvisation, martin's show was like that as well. I think the first season was rough but it picked up after that. Also the show was at it's height when it got cancelled.

You wanna talk about black c00nery shows. The parent hood was beyond cringeworthy. The last two seasons of family matters ruined what was a classic show with urkel overdrive. Homeboys in outter space,etc..

Yeah some of his acting was over the top and goofy. But the thing is marlon has tremendous range as an actor, his standup is pretty good as well. He shows flashes of his range during the wayans bros show.

He wanted to stay in the goofy, parody lane with some of those shytty movies but he has leading man talent. He's a much better actor/comedian that kevin hart will ever be in my humble opinion...

When Marlon setup Dee and Shawn in the bed and they woke up, he hit them with the , "It's Morning!" from As We Lay :mjlol:

Shawn's poem to that girl in class end with, "Roxanne, Roxanne.............I wanna be yo man!"

When Kim Whitely kidnapped Shawn and Marlon and they had on the chains, "Givest us free!" :mjlol:

As clowning as they were on this show, they actually were conscious of it and confronted it many times. Loved that they repped hip-hop culture all the time.

Yeah once Sean broke up with Lisa at the start of Season 2 it really began to pickup. My favorite episodes was when it was Shaun, Marlon, TC and Dupree.

I loved the episode where Shawn was about to sell out and join that uppity club and Marlon and the Crew crashed the party and brought him back to his senses by doing the "Shaft" theme. :pachaha:

Or the episode whew Shawn adopted that grown ass kid , that constantly punked him and Marlon. :russ:

Or the episode with Bernie Mac. "My name SHANK!!!" :damn:

They got too many classics, @stomachlines I should neg you for this blasphemous thread :childplease::ufdup:

I know what happens to newspapers..When you soak 'em in gas they make a big FIRE :demonic: :pachaha:
