i think the show started out really good but then toward the later years they went overboard with the humor and it did become c00nery buffoonery but when it's all said and done, what do y'all hold this show to? classic or c00nery buffoonery? :patrice:
I think the opposite. Show was a struggle in the first couple seasons and hit it's stride by the 3rd. It was still in it's prime when they cancelled it as far as I'm concerend. I didn't see any c00nery with the show. Marlon may have went OD on the goofyness, but anytime white people were on the show they were clowning and sonning them
I guess Marlon's "Lucious" character he played on the tv show was c00nery, but i don't even care that used to have me rolling :russ:

"Did ssssomebody say they need a caddy? Take those keys homey, it's got plenty of room in the trunk, but you have to move all the pork first" :dead:
"Lucious, I meant I need a caddy for my golf tournament"

I agree that first season to me was not funny and it seem liked they switch to better writers during season 2. And season 3 the show was just nom stop laughter, especially with all the pop culture references

Yeah once Sean broke up with Lisa at the start of Season 2 it really began to pickup. My favorite episodes was when it was Shaun, Marlon, TC and Dupree.

I loved the episode where Shawn was about to sell out and join that uppity club and Marlon and the Crew crashed the party and brought him back to his senses by doing the "Shaft" theme. :pachaha:

Or the episode whew Shawn adopted that grown ass kid , that constantly punked him and Marlon. :russ:

Or the episode with Bernie Mac. "My name SHANK!!!" :damn:

They got too many classics, @stomachlines I should neg you for this blasphemous thread :childplease::ufdup:

Always thought this show was c00ning a lil. At first I thought it was funny, but then I realize that they only joke on Black stereotypes or black celebrities
