Drake stanleys are the worst thing to happen to hip-hop. Yall so emotional too :mjlol:

Drake is the biggest thief in hip-hop history and yall continue to let this fraud get away with it :wow:

-He don't write his rhymes but claims to be the best of this era
-Dozens of instances of stealin songs and bars from unknown rappers
-Pays his ghostwriters breadcrumbs for million dollar hits then puts em outta work when he gets exposed for it
-Raps about breakin collarbones and catching bodies but got sent to the ER from a slap by diddy

I :salute: the dedication but :scusthov:... yall should really put that same energy into somethin that'll pay off

I'm struggling to understand the argument here....from the best i can gather hotline bling is basically a sung "freestyle" over a re-flipped version of the cha cha beat

Why the hell is this mundane shyt worth some 200plus post long superthread?

I suggest you dudes stay away from pretty much any rap blog ...you'll literally see 3 or 4 of these type of heinous thefts a week, using other songs actual beats instead of vaguely reminiscent tracks with entirely different samples.... :lupe:

Where is the ovo post that YOU only saw on the world wide web?

:mjlol:.

The article YOU posted talked about apple putting up the remix tag not OVO. It's seems the net made this up and people ran with it. I have listened to both songs and I don't hear the shark nikkaz claiming happened. I mean the beat is different, chorus and content but he still bit? :dead:

:dead: The fact dudes in here really saying they don't hear similarities between the two songs is fukking hilarious. You know if DRAM had released Cha Cha after Hotline Bling these same fakkits would be saying he's trying to bite Drake's sound.

I hate you nikkas man :scust:
Stop it what is similar? Y'all keep saying this but your not being specific. What did he bite? Not even the same melody....

The first song was a casualty of the sample game not stopped from shinning by Drake.

:stopitslime: They both have that early 1990s basic Yamaha keyboard synth sound to them that sounds like elevator music. You mean to tell me, it's just a coincidence that these two songs have come out with that similar dated sound to them?

The lengths yall go to defend Drake is just :scust: worthy.

Drake learned it from Jay Z :yeshrug:

First thing: cut the crap, the songs sound the same

Secondly: Apple (Jimmy Iovine) most likely made some phone calls to shut down Cha Cha's steam. It wouldn't be the first time they played dirty against the competition
