I would love to see a spiritual successor
Always thought they could do a game called The Riffs about being the last of those 70s dress-up gangs in the 80s with crack and hip hop really taking hold. You would see how many of those guys transitioned or just left the streets. So part West Side Story, part Mean Streets, part Paid in Full.

Mix of gunplay and detailed melee.
R* seems to love 20th century Americana and that would be a sweet-spot.

Hell yea. And if they go open world like every game is nowadays, they could really tap into having varied traversal as opposed to a car. Hopping fences and roof to roof was also hella fun.

As classic as the movie is to most people, reading the book or playing the game offers a far better insight as to just what the fukk went down that night that had the Warriors on the run. I'm actually surprised people liked the movie as much 'cause you had little to nothing to base damn near any of the characters on outside of Swan and Ajax.

shyt...might gotta pick this up again 'cause I ain't about to spend half the day trying to get the RCA cables to work on my Xbox and dust them huge ass controllers out for nothin'.
NGL, Ive been feeling like I like the game more than the movie because of this.

I remember when this came out it had a good amount of hype but I never saw the movie and I wasn't interested in the setting.

Now I think it's a very interesting game and concept, I'll probably try it out some day along with the movie because the setting is unique and not commonly explored.
