Yeah, shyt was mostly trash in season 8 but jumped back up in quality considerably in seasons 9-11

They turned this ep to a horror movie
• Negan “escapes” his cell and looks for the whisperers, he pretends he wants to join them and moves through the ranks becoming Alphas number 2 gaining her trust, he spends most of the season with them
• because of her foster son getting his head on a stick at the end of season 9 Carol is hellbent on killing alpha even at the risk of hurting her own people, she sets of dynamite to blow up alphas horde but traps Connie (deaf chick) in a cave by accident, they all think she’s dead..she isn’t
• Whisperers Attack Hilltop and burn it to the ground
• Negan gets alpha alone and cuts her head off and brings it to Carol, we find out she was the one who let him out to kill alpha
• Eugene comes into contact with another community, he sets out with Zeke & Yumiko, they meet another survivor called princess on the way, by the end of the season they are captured by guards from the community they were looking for
• Michonne finds somebody while looking for supplies who leads her to an island where loads of shyt from other survivors is kept, she finds items of Ricks, she leaves Judith with Everybody and sets off to find him, she hasn’t been in the show since
• Beta take control of the horde and goes after the rest at Alexandria, the town gets levelled and the survivors hold up in a hospital, beta takes the herd there, Maggie and a new crew show up to help fight them off and they manage to lure them away and off a cliff, beta is killed
• Maggie and her new crew were hunted by a new group of lunatics who destroyed her old settlement, they are now hunting the protags
•Negan is now part of the group, he earnt enough grace by killing alpha that they don’t kill him but everybody still thinks he’s a murdering dikkhead
There was also a dope episode that aired between seasons 10 & 11 based on negans backstory that showed how he became the person he is
