to all those that gave up, i stopped in season 7 too, shyt got corny, but like others said, 9 and 10 are much better, not first 5 seasons good, but definitely worth a binge since a lot of fall shows will be delayed

I exited around the time the haphazard negro-treatment became undeniable.
Which was sometime before Glenn died; which btw funny bc everyone was in shock/suspense, whereas us comic readers were already years past that point.
I'll say that while i was an avid reader of the books, them shyts got stale after the Negan arc. Basically a purposeless zombie world with no end-goal, just revolving characters that you know are all/mostly going to die and be replaced. Maybe why the writer abruptly ended the series a year ago. When i learned about it and saw how he did it, i thought he did it right and classy.
TLoU is an inherently better story/premise bc the girl who is immune will always be the endgame, no matter how far off the rails they go with the zombie/non-zombie fukkery.
You almost have to respect how shamelessly Kirkman and AMC were willing to run this shyt into the ground.
