If there is one character on this entire show who does NOT need a spinoff it’s Daryl lol, this motherfukker has been around since episode 4, and has gone through literally every kind of arc along with going up against everything an apocalypse could throw at you...where do they go from here lol

Between Fear, World Beyond, an anthology series, a Daryl & Carol spin-off and some Rick Grimes movies the ONLY thing that is necessary now are the Rick movies, and that’s only literally because he left the show and we need to see how that went, and with that I guarantee if he knew they only had two seasons left he woulda stayed, back when he was still on the show whenever a producer was asked when it was planned to end it was “we plan to run this show for years to come up until at least season 20”

i wonder why theyd outright kill it and go with the spinoffs unless they think theyll be able to get away with cheaper shows and the newness will draw in viewers. i wonder what the plan is with fear. after a very good season 3 it went from bad to worse after the mini reboot with the new showrunners. it cant possibly keep going with the quality eroding to the degree it has.
hopefully trying to set up these spinoffs doesnt further infect twd like it did to a degree this past season because while im glad they didnt kill her character michonne's exit was handled poorly. angela kang has done a good job since she took over so if she can avoid the meddling from scott gimple she should be able to end it on a good note.
