I killed the first one, but felt bad when Clementine saw it. She knows about me killing the guy that was fukking my wife, and I didn't want her to be afraid of me, so I decided not to kill the other one with her watching.

Plus it felt good when the 2nd one started talking about "Wait til my mom and brother get out here." Lee's like :pachaha: "Killed them already" :umad: then let the zombies kill dude as he was mourned the loss of his family. Not going to give him the easy way out.

Saved the reporter girl, I trust that she won't tell the secret, even though I can see it happening. Also, Doug wasn't shyt and she's saved me and Clem's life a few times with the gun.

Yeah, likewise to all that. I saved the reporter chick because she's a bad bytch with the gun. Plus I didn't like Doug's face. Plus I know Lee's tryna tap that white p*ssy. *ahem* And yeah I LOL'D at the "They're both dead" line. nikka lost his mind, and we just walked out that bytch slow mo like there was an explosion goin off behind.

Clementine tho...gonna have to accept that I'm making the HARD fukkIGN CHOICES TO KEEP US ALIVE!!! NOT JUST FOR ME! NOT JUST FOR YOU! FOR EVERYBODY! THATS WHY I'M TAKING THE FOOD! THATS WHY WE'RE STILL HERE!

Because....because I've got to make all the...tough...choices... :to:

Just finished episode 2 and HOLY fukk that was impressive. Loving these games, man. The whole atmosphere. The characters interaction. Goddamn Clementine. I love that lil girl, breh. More than I loved Yuna in FFX. More than I loved my pet goldfishes, nikka. She is adorable. Great fukking games so far. Can't wait for episode 3.

This. This game pulls at your heart strings like no other... and the characters have a huge part in that. Clementine especially.

:to: Same here. Didn't want her to think I'm a monster.

For the most part my Lee has been cool, really haven't been a dikk to anyone except Larry, but even for him I tried to save him.

fukk Duck though. And I'm getting tired of Kenny.

Apparently the next episode be is in
Woodbury. Maybe we see the Governor :leon:

I don't respect Kenny anymore
Dude flat out murdered that old b*stard Larry

And did Episode 2 remind anyone else of Texas Chainsaw Massacre? It felt more like that than the Walking Dead to be honest.

You arent understanding me, I can read fast enough:stopitslime:

I just want to reiterate the genius of only giving the player seconds to make a decision.

From the first two episodes, Lee, in his attempts to console the people he travels with, seems to consistently make appeals to a person's lack of choice. He reminds them that although their action (or inaction) may have resulted in the death of another companion, in the heat of the moment, especially when it's life or death, you don't really decide anything. Primal instincts take over, and it's basically fight or flight.

I think this is a major theme the writers want to convey... and if that is the case, then giving the gamer an endless amount of time to decide the perfect action for a desired outcome doesn't really simulate that emotion very well. They want some scenes to feel hectic and the player to have a sense of panic. That's why some decisions have 5 seconds to respond, and some decisions have 15. They don't want it to feel predictable, so "nice/paragon" choices and "mean/renegade" choices are assigned to buttons randomly.

Listen, I love the Mass Effect series... really a lot of games that are "choose your own story" type. Now that I think about it, Heavy Rain does what TWD is doing as well.... now if the characters weren't so forgettable, but I digress. I just feel like ME could have been better if it wasn't so black and white with speech choices, and there was more of a sense of urgency with decision-making.

:what: i understand all of that.. its a very im perfect system. its hard to do, i respect what hey are trying to do, but it is imperfect. In those hectic situtation i already have what i wanna say in mind, but then what comes up is NOTHING i would say but what they programed Lee to say and you have to re-choose what you want to say! And you end up picking the wrong which isnt very realistic at all

Nice. Was just going to ask.

Played both episodes twice; short but love the actual divergence of outcomes based on your choices (:childplease:@Mass Effect).

:krs:@Larry's fate.
