As I play through this game I've come to realize the choices are window dressings. This game is highly linear and the choices you make don't drastically change anything. If you're given a choice later down the line the plot auto corrects itself to make sure everyone is on the same path. It doesn't ruin the game but it kinda marginalizes your decisions when you try to save someone and they have to die.

I'm about to start the last episode. I guess they had to do this to have a well put together plot. Pretty much the entire cast dies off and you can't stop it. At this point there's only 3 of the original team left and I get the feeling all but one of them will likely die. One of the three is a lock to die already. I always knew this person would die anyway though.

yeah, shyt sucks.
The worst part is looking back on it all the deaths are predetermined. I dropped Ben at the tower but if I didn't Kenny would have died with him instead of dying to save Christa. Doug catches a bullet for Ben if you let Carley die and choose him. If not Carley takes one in the dome from Lilly who leaves the group by either being left or stealing the RV moments later. Larry dies in the meat locker no matter what and the homeless dude dies off screen. Can't save Sean and Kenny's fam dies the same way too.

You just now figuring this out? :comeon:

No, but for such a small company they did an amazing job masking it's linearity. It would be really hard to develop a cohesive story that players controlled from start to finish. Heavy Rain is the only game I can think of that does a pretty good job at this at that level ... though there are some :what: moments in the plot, and some decisions don't actually affect anything. I'd love to see like a GTA game implement something like this. They teased at it in GTA IV with deciding to kill characters and whatnot but.

Glenn is from the comics and TV show? no wonder they didn't show what happened to him in the game.
