these critics are still mad about the village twist :snoop:

lol I'm still mad at 'Signs', 'The Village', 'Lady In The Water', and 'The Happening', but I can only blame myself. He has two great or near great movies in his first two though. From browsing the reviews, this is going to about on the level of 'Devil', which is quite a fall from grace from his prominence in the late 90's, but of course, that was 15 years ago.

M Night has more garbage films than good ones and his good ones weren't that great to begin with.

I don't really understand the desperation some people have to see if he can make another good film. He's a hack.
Sixth Sense and Unbreakable are masterpieces.

Fair enough if you feel that way but I disagree.

They're good, solid 8/10 films but nothing truly exceptional IMO.

Masterpiece is a very strong word. Don't use it loosely.

exactly...those are good movies..but to say masterpiece is ridiculous
