Don't sleep on Aquaman or let his old cartoon or even the JL cartoon fool you. Dude is super powerful but he doesn't get shown in that light too much cause of the rest of the league. Aquaman in the late 80's to early 90's in his own book is proof of how powerful he can be.

Then I just should have quoted the powers section. But anyway.....he has super strength (he's right below Superman and above Wonder Woman), is pretty much bullet proof, has telepathic powers that work on humans not just fish. And he does need to return to water but he can go weeks on land before having to do so. He can also absorb the moisture in the air if he has no other options.

GL movie alone cost over 20 million. How much do u think a movie that has to have effects of freeze breath,lasers,super strength,extreme speed,shape shifting and planetary destruction is going to cost?? This movie is going to end up being over 60 million to be done right...... It's just not going to happen.

You talking about the movie gonna suck because its budget will need to be too big and the number you throw out is $60 million.
Avengers cost over $200 million...The Dark Knight Rises was $250 million. None of these super hero movies are being made for anything less than $100 million. Thor cost around $150 million.
Nobody at WB thinks they are gonna be making a Justice League movie on the cheap; they are ready to break the bank on this movie because they will be forecasting it to make Avengers/Dark Knight money at the box office.

And the line-up will be the current one in the comics with Cyborg replacing the Martian Manhunter.
