This is getting trashed by critics but for once I disagree with them. Me and my friend went to see this today and we really enjoyed it. At the end the audience clapped. Some of the jokes fell flat, which was awkward, but only a few. For the most part, the funny parts were really funny, but even more importantly, it made you feel for these characters. Really great character development and acting from both Cranston, Hart, and Kidman. I think Hart may have found his niche with this type of film. I hope he gets more semi-serious roles because he brought a lot of realism and heart to his part. Yes, it is formulaic and predictable, but sometimes that's just what the doctor ordered, especially when it's this heartwarming and entertaining. I think this may have legs in the theatre.

7.5 out of 10 for me.

This is the Intouchables remake...I hope it's just as good because the original is excellent

Ok, I'm gonna have to check the original out then. Even with that tired ass black help trope that looked pretty good. And is that dude who played Bishop in Days of future past?

The year 3030
Just got back from seeing it and it was very good. This was the perfect role for Kevin Hart to transition out of the "Kevin Hart" shtick and get into dramatic roles. Pretty consistent pacing and all of the comedy beats worked as well as the dramatic ones.
agreed. Hope this is a sign he'll take more serious roles
