The Don KIlluminati is fake. It was confirmed to just be fan remixes as they got a hold of the masters someone sold onlineand the Don't Go 2 Sleep album is an officially released album EP that Daz made in '02
. Rest is bullshyt.
1. Not true. They are legitimate versions of the tracks, not fan remixes, however they were taken from several different copies of the project (notice the difference in quality throughout the tracks), thus making it a fanmade compilation and not an individual demo for the project. In other words, they just mixed and matched, but the tracks are real.
2. The official version of Makaveli & Dillinger was never "sold" or released. Daz allowed pre-orders for the project on his website but he never fulfilled any of them because Amaru blocked the release.
We only got the bootlegs, which are not official. Also the original EP had 8 tracks and probably mixes and other stuff we never got to hear.

I believe a lot of those Rakim songs came from an album in the mid-90s that MCA was having him record after him and Eric B broke up. He was trying to get out of his contract and they were trying to hold him to it. I'm probably a little fuzzy on some of the details. "Shades of Black" ended up released on that Pump Ya Fist compilation album. "Game of Death" was from Shaq's third album and "Hoodlum" with Mobb Deep was for the Hoodlum soundtrack, all recorded after those album sessions. Thanks for that, as I lost those tracks in that configuration.
Does anyone have the original Mr. Smith album LL Cool J recorded and was either rejected by Def Jam or pulled for consideration by him? I had it, but lost it. Thanks!

Is the real tracklist of the original R U Still Down? album that was going to be released in 95? I recently came across an Interlude called No Face or something like that on Youtube and I've supposedly seen the whole album the way it was going to release in its original way but need to confirm the track list is real.
