Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the most overrated cereal

I would’ve disagreed w/ this but I just bought 2 boxes the other day...haven’t had it in a minute...it’s different...for one the squares are much smaller than I remember them being and it doesn’t leave as much cinnamon in the milk...that used to be the best part @ the end smh

nikka Bron is huge in sports lmao, he is defiantly this generation MJ... everyone knows this nikka. Plus the NBA has way bigger other stars than the 90's (Curry/KD/Giannis/Kawhi way bigger than some damn Malone/Barkley/Drexler/Hakeem) ... Drake is HUGE, not MJ huge but damn there isn't a white star as big as MJ either so that's moot. Kevin Hart little short is basically as big as Eddie (not as good obviously), Murphy was bigger but still everyone knows Kevin Hart.... WHO tf even watches TV any more and cares about talk shows :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: White people can have that bullshyt. Clothing wise, you can't be serious fam:gucci: these mfs try so hard to dress like us, they copied are whole sneaker game :russ:... They weren't lacing up the same sneakes until sneakerhead culture got gentrified in the early 10's. Rap is literally the most popular genre now, how can u even say this?:mjlol: ... nikka streetwear is still huge, all these lil white nikkas love Supreme/Bape/etc. because of who? USS

Next you'll tell me Drake's ghostwriters are the new Motown :heh:
The problem here is that nikkas don't know what "peaked" means. I didn't say we weren't still dominating in some of these fields. I'm just saying it was on a whole different level back in the day. Drake ain't no Michael Jackson. Lebron ain't no Jordan. Kevin Hart ain't no Eddie Murphy. For whatever it's worth, these people had global, cross cultural dominance.

People still watch TV, just on Netflix. Where's our Martin, Fresh Prince, Cosby Show, etc.? Ain't nobody watching Tyler Perry like they were those shows. And I noticed you didn't even touch today's black movies and movie stars. :francis:

I'll give you the "nobody cares about talk shows anymore" point. But if you don't think there was some cultural power in having a black woman come into America's homes daily and literally tell half the population what to do, I don't know what to tell ya.

It’d be nice if we can dominate other major industries outside of the arts and entertainment tho :francis:
Amen

Maybe on the internet.

We're not reppin on TV like we used to. We're not reppin movie stars like we used to. Our awards shows get no attendance while we go around talking about Oscars So White. We used to not give a damn about no Oscars.

Who's as big as Michael Jackson in music? Michael Jordan in sports? Eddie Murphy in comedy and movies? Oprah in talk shows? Mike Tyson was so big he got a classic video game. I'm not gonna even bring up hip-hop.

Lemme go back even further since our brother Bill Withers just died. Who makes music like that that's both classic, musical and popular?

Even clothing wise - mainstream media used to bite black fashion hard and call it "street wear". Now black fashion don't even get a mention. That was decades ago sometime before the hipster phase.

Maybe I'm just being nostalgic. But I don't think us dominating Twitter culture really makes up for all of the above. And a lot of black twitter is actually black gay twitter if we're being honest.
You're right. Dude you're talking to is a teenager in iran who bases shyt off internet standards. They dont understand just how different shyt was.

Black people was checking for black award shows and wearing black clothing lines like it was nothing.

The music was morse insulated from white pop culture. Whats worse is now nikkas are straight up remaking 90s hits with they garbage verses pasted in

Black fashion is more copying rappers/fads who themselves wear either free shyt from designers they know or corny europeon designer shyt they brag about in their songs.

Seems like what lil nikkas call black culture now is like a tongue in cheek parody/play off of how we really used to live back then. These lil nikkas chasing an echo of the 90s and calling it culture.

And the census is some bullshyt. They really trying to play somebody. Isnt the same census that they're making commercials about the same shyt they use on which schools and communities to neglect financially and deprive of sources, red line, and etc etc? They act like people are dumb. That census???

This is stupid. The census is the BEST chance you have for getting resources to your neighborhood. Look up how the term hispanic came about and how the latin community used the census to band together and get more resources.

* The Dems and Repubicans are two wings of the same bird. Neither one of them is going to truly vindicate black people.
* I've got no problem with people dating/marrying out as long as they aren't using that relationship as a platform to badmouth their own. Hating ANYBODY for their skin color is wrong, I don't care who's doing it.
* Vegeta was more trouble than he was worth after Namek (at least in Z). Vegeta is :banderas: in the Saiyan and Frieza sagas though.
* Krillin is underrated. The heroes would have never survived for as long as they did on Namek without him. Yeah, he made some mistakes in the Cell Saga, but who didn't?
* Naruto fell off HARD with the timeskip. One Piece, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Fullmetal Alchemist and Hunter x Hunter >>>>>>>
* The Star Wars prequels are not good movies, and they don't hold a candle to the OG trilogy. RotS is still better than the Disney trilogy though, since they at least had a plan in terms of where they wanted to go with it.
* If we're talking strictly comics, the 1980s were the true golden age of the X-men, not the 90s. The 90s are still a lot of fun and far better than this new era though.
* (No shade against Logan) Cyclops is actually that dude. Scott gets busy in the comics, but he's slept on because most of us are only used to seeing the watered down, :flabbynsick: version of the character from the movies and cartoons. The movies in particular sacrificed pretty much everyone at the altar of Wolverine (and later Mystique).
* (Probably not unpopular outside of the Coli) The Sega Genesis has some gems, but it's not seeing the SNES, and it never will.
Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Mega Man X, Final Fantasy VI, a Link to the Past, Mario RPG, Mario Kart >>>>>>
To be fair to Sega, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star IV, Streets of Rage 2, and Sonic 3 and Knuckles are still fire.

Dog are better than cats...oh wait...that's actually a fact...my bad

Dogs cannot survive in the wild. Without man, they are useless.

Cats on the other hand can be domesticated from birth. Leave it for a month with no food and water, you'll come home to find it alive and well.

I rep Dog Set but even I know...
