If there was ever a clear cut microcosm of WWE not being shyt outside of the wrestling bubble, it was LeBron not even taking a few minutes before a game to come out and dap up a living legend like Taker who came with his wife and the Ultimate Warrior family just to see him.

Bron has an pregame ritual that he does NOT like to be interrupted... I'm sure if Bron wanted to meet Taker before a wrestlemania match Taker probably wouldn't do it either

Taker pulled up in full costume () to make a corporate-sponsored appearance so he could get a free photo op that WWE would still be using for promotion to this day. He went out on a high note with the Boneyard Match.. it hid a lot of his issues. If he does have another match it can't be in front of a live audience.

Austin, yes, Rock IDK. Rock is such a huge star I can't see him pulling such a move in the first place. He'd probably wait until post game. In that "Last Dance" documentary plenty of celebrities were in the locker room post game but not pre game.
