Folks are nihilistic. But at the same time just talking. Living in a country while at the same time hoping for it's destruction instead of just changing its destructive habits. It's emotional for a lot of folks but if they stopped and think about an actual collapse and how it may affect them or other folks like them in that country they may soften up a bit.
For example, I wish for a more leftist US that stops it's incursions into other countries and destablization efforts and doesn't go to war without cause on behalf of corporations. It's crazy how much damage Trump and MAGA did to the West, not just on paper but culturally and mentally.
Although it got real close to utter disaster, at least America is rebounding because of our overall attitude towards diversity, science and human rights. We got MAGA basically branded as a cult here now and shamed for it, but in other countries like Italy they're doubling down on worse versions of Trump and doing away with Centrists.
Those other European countries are screwed man. They're simply not as strong. Considering the international damage MAGA has done and the bullshyt that's about to follow because of them, those guys should be war criminals.
Like I said earlier in this thread, I don't know if Brexit and all it's consequences from there will be undone in my lifetime. Those guys will literally be operating out of the 1950's while other continents will be groundbreaking new modern innovations. Countries that chose to resist those movements, ignore it completely or be completely oblivious to it will be so much better going forward.
