Our core is too old for these back to backs, especially after the grueling game against Minny last night. The blown Laker game was more of choke than this one. These dudes were on fumes tonight. PG missed too many free throws and Kawhi froze out the hot handed Harden and went 0-4 down the stretch. Lue's small ball didn't work at all. Mann didn't get any play late in the game. I was a big advocate for Coffey but regressed bigtime and not a threat on offense at all. I'm thinking BBJ should get a look soon.

Didn't they play basically the whole 4th quarter?

I don't know. Bro I'mma be real with you, and most won't agree, but I'm putting Moussa or Kobe Brown in the game for a few spot minutes to see if they can slow down Bobby Portis. Get him off rythum and then bring Theis or whoever back in. After the 12 round bout with Minny the night before how is Lue not digging into his bench more against Milwaukee? The stars were gassed beyond belief in the 4th quarter last night. More Mann and Bones, hell maybe a few spot minutes to BBJ to give PG and Kawhi and extra breather so they're fresher to close out the 4th. This 8-9 man rotation is for the playoffs not during the regular season on back to backs-3 games in 5 nights. The Nuggets Mike Malone would've had all these guys in the mix. That's one of the unheralded reasons of their success, Malone has no problems utilizing his entire bench when the situation calls for it. Ty Lue is like Thibbs, he runs his players into the ground.

It was all good three quarters ago:unimpressed:

Kawhi checked out and everything sank immediately afterward. PG was alright and tried but Harden?? This dude's scoring has fell off a cliff

That game may come back to define this iteration of this team

Minnesota has been losing and will continue to. They have three vs Denver before the year is done. The problem? If it came down to a battle for 3rd they get it because of winning the season series.

At the rate The Clippers are losing not only will they get a horrible matchup in NO first round but they may be on the road due to how NO has been

1st round exit not unlikely

The problem is that the team lacks a defensive leader when Kawhi is out.

They also have the weakest bigs out of the top 6 seeds in the West, and are the only one without a servicable power forward. Don't gotta have a KAT, Zion, or KD, but they don't even have an Aaron Gordon or Jalen Williams.

Whats a killer is the team could have been battling for the no.1 seed based on the matchups the past month or so, instead theyve cratered. Its likely that matchup with NO will be locked in but even on the slight chance they pass Minnesota any potential matchup is troubling considering the way theyve been playing. I dont think its the answer to all of their ills but i think bringing PJ Tucker back into the rotation had to be done. Its probably asking too much of Kawhi to play every single minute hes on the floor as their biggest forward.

They need to take care of business these next 6 games and go at least 5-1 if theyre going to hold onto the 4 spot. Because after that its @Sac, Den, Uta, Cle,@Pho, Pho with the Utah game being a back to back and the 2nd Phoenix game being a back to back.

I think the losing started when they tried to force PJ back in the rotation after his complaining. He’s pretty useless on both ends at this point, but since Mann is down they have no choice.

Ultimately this team will go as far as PG can take them. He’s not the best player on the team but if he’s not playing well there’s no one else to pick up the slack (especially with Russ being out).

This Portland game was needed to get some rhythm back. If they can stay afloat while guys get healthy I think they’ll make a deep run

They took him out of the rotation because he wasnt providing anything offensively. HIs final stretch before they benched him was around 80 minutes played and 2 shots taken from the field. That said his last 5 games before they benched him on Nov 27th he was a positive on the floor all 5 games. They didnt bring him back til Feb 23rd after some noncompetitive losses against NO, Min, and OKC.

PG has played better since he sat out a couple games and i agree theyll go as far as he and Kawhi carry them, but they need someone to provide dirty work minutes off the bench to keep them from breaking down. Like i said i dont think 38 year old PJ Tucker is the ideal option but he might be the best or only option.

The rook Kobe Brown is better than PJ at this stage of their careers, but PJ cried to the media and Lue gave in like a sucka.

On another note, what's gong on with Bones? Has a great opportunity with Russ being out, but is starting to flame out and now looks to be in the doghouse. Does Josh Primo get a shot/tryout at the backup pg position?

Team is too old, slow, gassed, semi and fully washed, etc. Team doubled down on the senior citizen movement with Harden but unfortunately that trade included PJ Tucker and it quickly turned into a sh*t show once he cried for his minutes and Lue caved in and put him back into the rotation. Harden is only taking 6-8 shots a game and is slowing the offense down to a crawl and getting exposed on defense. Mann and Coffey are redundant and both won't shoot the ball when wide open at times. If Norm isn't hitting shots he needs to sit. Zu is hit or miss but mostly plays soft. Plumlee is washed. Need athletes and youth surrounding PG & Kawhi at this stage of their careers but its the complete opposite. Kai Jones was out there for the taking and they passed. Kobe Brown was shelved even tho he's way better than PJ. Does PG bolt to Philly or Indy in the offseason? Do you trade Kawhi? This team is in trouble.
