Lakers shot more FTs than us. Way more. I call BS. A win is a win. By your logic, the team should've lost those games they came back down 20+ from.
Took alot of threes though and those don't always get you to the free throw line. Luckily we made a bunch in the third quarter

Good move. Still no point guard unless another deal is going to get made. I was hoping to see Keon develop but I guess Coffey improving made him expendable. I can also see him playing some point since Bledsoe is now gone. Got a ton of wings now and its crazy cause we could never get one solid 3 & D player during the Lob City era. How has Norman Powell looked this season?

He’s gonna look better if he gets PT, yet this is his third team in what 3 years? Was he on Toronto when they won the ‘ship? He also signed that contract with PRTL so that can be a let down, but I’m sure players know that when they sign deals with good numbers that it’s for teams to leverage them in trades

I rather not have a pg if their solution is another bonehead trade like they did for rondo.

The Rondo trade was two fold.. Get a real point guard in to run the offense and take some of the pressure off PG and Kawhi, and the other was the ball dominate Lou Will being gone means more touches, shots, minutes, development for Reggie, Kennard, and Mann. We failed miserbly on the Rondo at point part but Reggie, Mann, and Kennard blossoming and balling out in the post season was a win. We don't get Terance Mann's 39 point game to eliminate the Jazz in game 6 and send us to our first WCF appearance if Lou Will is still on the team.

I feel like we could have got more for Lou will if we weren't trying to package him to get Rondo. Also I'm of the opinion the amount of players I'd want the ball in their hands over Kawhi and of is miniscule. I get what you're saying.

Just read somewhere that Portland doesn't have an actual GM right now after letting Olshay go. So basically this Portland trade is how our bad trades used go when Doc Rivers was the head coach and GM of the team during the Lob City era. Even still at least they have a project to work with Keon Johnson. We wouldn't have even gotten that
