I'm lazy on starting a new thread this season plus its only a handful of us anyways. With Kawhi out we're being highly doubted but that's cool, we'll just fly under the radar. Team is stacked though and seems more cohesive and on good terms with each other. Finally broke through and made a WCF. Now its time to build off of that. Kawhi might be back post all star break- maybe- but I see PG stepping up and being in the MVP race. He finally had a nice postseason and should build from this not to mention he sort of plays better without Kawhi. Expecting a breakout-MIP type season from Terance Mann. He's hungry. Kennard looks improved and more aggressive on offense and if he's not Lue will sit him. Reggie should ball out and Morris Sr. needs to stay healthy for a good season. Bleadsoe seems like a good fit from the few preseason games I've seen him in. We'll see. Batum is back, Zu is solid but the addition of Hartenstein has Clipp fans wondering if he might end up being the better big. As usual not sure about Serge and his status.
Not to jump the gun but I think we might have one with Brandon Boston Jr. He was a projected top 5 lottery pick that had a subpar freshmen year at Kentucky, left school, and we got him late in the 2nd round of the draft. Sick handle, fluid jumper, solid defensively, but needs to hit the weight room. Jay Scrubb and Keon Johnson should be nice off the bench as well. Not sure what we'll get from Justice Winslow and Amir Coffey this season. They're both very similar players and having them both is sort of redundant. But lets get it!! GS tonight. Time to surprise everyone once more. We got a Top 4 seed team right here!
