never heard this song in my life, don't know how you define "hit", but as someone heavily plugged into finding new music on my own and also listens to mass outlets (i.e. radio) and the musical curations of others (DJ's @ bars/parties, the trainers at my gym who play their music), i find it hard to call something a "hit" that aint nobody playing![]()
Yeah. That Alumni shyt.
Now watch how complex or somebody will turn this into an article.
Not even gon watch.
Kid Ink is DJ Rockstar. Him and DJ Ill Will brought us some of the best tapes. Then he became the artist.
Literally every major song he's been a part of has had a feature from a much bigger artist (Chris, Usher, Fetty Wap, Dej Loaf). I'm saying cookie cutter because you could just as easily take his verses out and replace them with Tyga, Wiz Khalifa or even a lesser lightskin and tatted rapper. Say what you want about the Lil Uzi's, Rich The Kid's, lil pumps, etc. There songs are there's.That's the state of most of the ''rap'' industry tho.
He wasn't an industry plant but he did have some good connections. Rockstar/llWill definitely helped him. And his manager I think owned Hot New Hip HopSome of yall dudes slow lmao, Kid Ink was never close to an industry plant... Dude was making a fanbase for his self since 2010

I didn't know he was Rockstar either but when a young nikka tried to get his 'jerk' on, I saw that he was the older brother of one of them go go power ranger nikkas. If anyone knows what I'm talking about any way
