She was lying because, she knew nobody , or I should say very few people cared about her and pac (in real time)

In real time, folks weren't pressed on stuff like that. She also knew folks wouldn't have the resources to dig and go down the rabbit hole like folks do today

When I say folks, I'm talking about your average fan.

Putting stuff out like that "in real time" back in the day was very rare.

She had many reasons to lie, as I stated in my previous post, ego, folks weren't so pressed to find out, also folks did not have the "resources" to find out.

She knew what could or usually would be released to the public.

These folks that are talking in 2023, "the secondhand folks" did not talk like that in interviews in real time back in the day and she knew those secondhand folks would not be big enough to tell their truth.

She was bigger than these second hand folks, in real time. She had reasons to lie and felt good about it.

I posted an interview from Faith before Pac even died, where she was pressed to answer questions about Pac. People cared about this in 1996.

I don't think you understand, that's common, that's not a truly damaging thing, many girls went that route.

She had reasons to lie, and a person like her shouldn't be in that position that pac put her in. It's an ego/mind thing for a woman.

To the public, she is not supposed to be talked about nor thought about as a groupie. That's why she lied.

Yes, its common, but it is still damaging to women who came up in the church. Stuff like that causes people to be stranged from family. That isn't anything light. Women got kicked out the house for getting pregnant in a church family.

A person like her? Breh, she was an R&B singer signed to what was largely viewed as a Hip Hop label. She was married to a rapper. She didn't have some pristine, sqeaky clean image.

Pac wasn't just "another man". He was her husband's mortal enemy. Why WOULD'nt she admit to doing sexual things with her own husband? lol. How can u equate that?

Because if she was worried about her image, she wouldn't pubicly admit that. There's literally no reason at all to reveal something like that even if it was her husband. And as I stated before, the fact that Pac and Biggie had beef and she admittedly being bitter gave her even more reason to tell the world she was with Pac.

Two different situations. Faith was pregnant and people even said the child she was carrying was Pac's. Of course, that turned out to be false. Even with Biggie joking about it.

I don't think a woman who would publicly admit to eating the booty would lie about being with another man especially when her husband was publicly with other women. I mean, it would've been the ultimate payback for her to be like "Yeah, I was with Pac, a movie star and you were with nobodies".

I think you're putting too much weight on being honest about sex acts

thats like nikkas who would admit to killing somebody before they would admit to doing gay sh1t (even while in jail).
and honestly who's to say Faith didnt say that to Biggie 4real
and that "...you were with nobodies" would not have been hurtful or true considering Lil Kim was upcoming famous and a revenue generator.
there's nothing he could have done with that statement anyway.
I think you're simplifying the situation and ignoring the implications a confession would have on not just her but a bunch of people.

once again see Pete Rose and Roger Clemons
people can lie with conviction homie

It wouldn't matter. In that situation, she and I weren't together, but still married. I'm doing what I want to do, why am I to be concerned with what she does with someone else even if he's my enemy?

Nobody knows what happened, but Faith and Pac. It never mattered anyway because this was never supposed to be about facts, but about crushing Biggie's whole playa image. Once those pictures surfaced of Pac and Faith hugged up together, it was a wrap. Public opinion is that they were together whether it happened or not.
he didnt crush shyt because kim and charlie at the time >>>>>>

he lost his mayne yella... but kept his back up yella and suga brown on the side..

n had his mayne chick n side chick in the same video...singin hooks

Lil Kim in 1996 was A NOBODY compared to 2Pac. 2Pac was a celebrity. Kim was not, at least not at that level. So yes, BEFORE she had singles out, she was a nobody. She was the least famous personnin the situation.

Her confessing to being with Pac would change nothing that wasn't already being said about her. People still to this day say she was the reason Pac and Biggie got killed.

1996, nobody was coming to school or sitting in the barbershop/beauty shops discussing Pac and Faith, UNTIL after Hit'em UP lol

If that interview is before the release of Hit'em Up, breh, I promise you, nobody cared about Pac dating Faith Evans. Nobody in "black spaces" in real time was talking about Pac and Faith Until after Hit'em Up was release.

in 1996 R&B singers were not looked at as groupies or women who "got around" Their image was tailored for them to be perfect; it was only until Adina Howard added spice to it.

Nobody had a reason to discuss Faith and Pac until "Hit Em Up". Those photos were the lead up for that. That interview is obviously after "Hit Em Up", but before Pac's death. "Touch Me, Tease Me" by Case is playing in the background. So this is Summer 1996 just like every other day in tThe Booth.

Breh, women in R&B were dating their peers. This was nothing new. Mary J. Blige dated K-Ci and Case. Come on breh.

I disagree lol. Kim was on the radar. Get Money came out in Feb. Her lyrics caught folks attention. That song stayed on the radio. She repped for the women.

No time came out in Oct 1996, that song ran the radio.

Lil Kim was talked about at the lunch tables, and in black circles in 1996

Being on the radar is still a nobody compared to the other people involved. October 1996 is after Pac died. Summer 1996 when that interview took place, Kim was not a household name yet. We only knew her for two songs and their respective remixes.

If I were any dude that fukked faith, id have to ask, in the heat of passion "is my dikk better than Pac's??!!:steviej:"

She'd reply "YES!!!!":noah:

Then I'd nut, sit on the edge of the bed while putting my clothes on, look up at the ceiling and say to myself "I did this for you, Biggie"

You're an R&B singer in the 90s, look at the other singers in that genre at the time, Whitney, Marey, Mary J, Toni Braxton etc. now when these ladies appear on TV, (in real time) the average fan or most fans were looking at these women dolls per say. Elegance, Grace.

Their personnel life (if heard by rumors) was never in the media like that, like how artists lives are in our face today. Granted you may hear something about one of them, but it didn't grow legs. They either dismiss it, or the rumor went away. I remember hearing about Mary J having AIDs. lol. That quickly went away.

So, Hit'em UP comes out, and this rumor happens to be on one of the biggest records in the WORLD. (something that has never happened before) Magazines,/Interview, you can omit things, read over the finally copy. Folks can decline questions, pre-prompt interview questions, wit this, NO, she could not do anything.

So of course, he saying that on the record, as a R&B person or any woman, most are goin to say that it's NOT TRUE. This is front of the world.
Do you think she is goin to say, Yea, Pac fukked me in an interview? after the way he said it on the record?

Vs if he wrote a nice lovely poem praising her, she may have said it, but 2pac dogged her pretty much and dogged everybody in that song, so of course she's going to lie.

The public clowned her or looked at her differently after 2pac said that, she had to lie because her "public image" was damaged.

Breh, she was in Word Up! Magazine in a picture with Pac. In the 90's, it didn't matter who you were. If two artists were flicked up together, they were TOGETHER. So to your point, whatever image or perception you want to paint of Faith was already in shambles.

Aaliyah was a teenager in the 90's that did not stop people from crating rumors of her and Ginuwine based off the "One In A Million" video and photos of them together in Black Beat, Word Up, and Right On.
