This right here was the answer and y'all idiots went and dove into racist ass genetics and how the mixed race is now superior :mjlol:

The reason is MONEY. Instead of some NBA scout coming to Brooklyn or Raleigh or wherever the fukk shyt you seen in that Adam Sandler movie... They go straight to their friends with high priced coaching camps, straight to the basketball academy high schools that pay to get players (and usually hear about them from said "coaches"), straight to these national AAU games that cost $5000 and up per season, plus travel expenses, straight to etc etc etc etc that costs a lot of MONEY.

So who likely to have both money and athleticism? Kids of black people with money. Who do a lot of black men with money marry? White women.. No they are not all Lavar Ball, searching for the perfect white woman.. Some of them just fukked a white woman and had more money to send their kid to camp than the guy working construction.

If you sent 100 kids from the inner city to those same camps all their life, it wouldn't turn into a mixed league based on talent. What the hell is wrong with some of y'all? They aren't genetically just better than the black kids. They get better training at a younger age. And more of it. And they get "in" with the right peopl/schools, who only have so many slots.

Basically white colleges are gatekeeping like they did with "analytics" and black coaches. They know what the NBA is looking for and who's a prospect. So they go get the guys and it goes up the ladder. The NBA is just going to pick whoever is the best at college.

Same reason all these "prep" schools do scoop up the hood and inner city nikkaz....shyt, even the middle to upper middle class nikkaz.

Most of the league comes from two Black parents, but, we gonna make a stink about the 5% that don't...?

the numbers are rising which is the "concern".

all comes back to the dollar.

Even in the NFL, lots of 2nd generation brothas coming up in the league (not white moms). Access to better training, etc. due to bread.

Live your own life
Black professional athletes are giving white women access to generational wealth while the black community overall wealth continue to dwindle. White women know how to play their part in capturing a successful athletes. We are going to see a lot more mulattos in the NBA and they are going to distribute their wealth back into the hands of affluent white community. :wow:

There gonna be more international players than bi-racial players. The NBA is actively courting that market.

Middle-class kids have always been more likely to make the NBA than poor kids. They did studies of '90s ballers that showed no matter whether you're black or white, you're less likely to make the league if you're poor.

It's even worse now though because there is so much focus from an early age on all that extra shyt. AAU, camps, skills training, etc. All of which gives the kids with money and opportunity a leg up. Plus the Black middle class is larger than it was 50 years ago and the international competition is better, meaning there are that many fewer slots that the poorer Black kids are competing for.

Basketball just a microcosm of the problems across all of society. Poor kids have a disadvantage in EVERY career path. This is just reason #831 why we need to be working for equal opportunity for all kids.

Most high earning black men marry black women.

Yup.

Again, I think folks would be surprised how many of their favorite artists/producers are on because of the connections their family has who are in the music industry or run in the same circles - like someone's auntie is Mike Will's doctor (completely chose Mike Will by random here).

A lot of these folks is somebody's niece, cousin, nephew, etc. Being around the music industry for some time showed me this. I was actually pretty blown away the more I found out about connections and who kind of knows who from way back or who's who's cousin/nephew from a whole other field of entertainment. Like "Hey, check out my niece's voice and my nephew's beats while I direct this high-priced fashion show for the industry".

I also know about the doctor thing (it's not Mike Will's), because one of my best friends is a doctor (10+ year grind in medical school) and sees it happen. In fact, he's treated some well-known people himself and gets invited to some of these industry events. Dude's wedding had a couple well-respected people in the industry attending. Now the guy's kids have direct-line access/resources to folks that deal with the Prime Minister of Ghana (not Ghana, but other countries). So if that kid ever wants to get into world politics, there it is - something else everybody else will have to grind for.

We like to think you can come up from the bottom, and some do, but the odds and numbers don't really reflect that story. Where you start or what you're born into has a high impact and influence on the outcome because it can make your path significantly easier, including fields that seem entirely merit-based.

You can even see this for yourself in modern day online grinds:

Folks are in Discord/Twitch communities for producers and artists trying to get recognition - in some cases the people really standing out are gifting thousands of monthly subs to people that are like $5-$10 a pop during livestreams. They then get shoutouts on streams for doing that, and while that's cool of them to do, it's building their reputation and makes it easier to show their music or their artwork. Now what person you know who's underprivileged and grinding can afford to stand out like that and drop $5-$10k a month?

A pretty well-known producer a few months ago was on twitter saying if you throw him money he'll collab with you and get your beats to an artist directly. Some white kid did like 10 beats with him. Not gonna knock the hustle, but those with more money are highly at an advantage here and he definitely wasn't the only big name producer doing that.

My question is why do you care? :heh:.

You're literally upset that 100 black men are getting their way up through how white men got noticed. Through private and prep schools.

You're really mad that not every recruit isn't Jesus Shuttleworth? :dahell:

You're really mad that a player like Jaden Ivey didn't struggle???? That's fukking stupid
I can’t lie, Black folks have a fascination with having a struggle narrative. It’s very crab in a barrel. That mentality needs to die

Ain’t his mom or dad parents.

Why you so mad :skip:

Because people love playing dumb. We’re the only community that thinks biracials marrying black people = full black people. I’d bet a stack that if Steph took a genetic test he’d have a lot of other groups in his background. On average we’re all 20% non black and people who look like Steph are on the upper range of that.

Both sets of his grandparents are black. I could see if one looked cac but neither is. Sonya’s mom is Haitian so it’s probably her makeup. Her dad was born and raised in rural VA as is ADOS
