I talked about Napier's shot in preseason, I think it has to do with his leg and core strength. Won't improve much during the season, but another full offseason next year and he should be good to go
I look at how both Wade and Cole improved thier mid range shots and can see the same for Napier happening during the summer

Anyone that saw him play in college knows that he can shoot. And not just from the college line. He would shoot from nba range a lot of times. He hasn't shot it great in the last few games (the 2 3s he missed tonight were in and out) but he hit a 3 in 3 straight games earlier in the season. The tentativeness is probably a result of him not wanting to try to do too much and just fit in and be a facilitator.

He'll be good as he gets more comfortable with the game and with having to shoot from nba range consistently.
Yeah but that was not the situation here.

Typically we have 2 players inside and 3 out on the edges and if the player inside (Bosh or wade) needs to dump it off to someone at the 3pt line he just passes it. THe recepient of said pass can decide wether to shoot or swin the ball around to the next man until it reaches the open man. All 3 times napier found himself open with the next defender more than 15 from him. Anyone and their mama expect you to shoot in this situation. Instead he caught the ball, hesitated, then passed it again allowing the defense to recover by then.

so who plays at 4/5 once everyone gets healthy? bosh and mcroberts are locks, and probably shawne williams too. that leaves one spot for ud/birdman/hamilton and you could make a case for each one of them. it's gonna be interesting to see what spo does.

One more Dwyane Wade number: he has two 10-assist games already. He had two all of last season.

Flash back. :wow:

He will probably be like Kemba. Kemba his first year he was bad. Then the more work he put in & NBA training he got he is starting to come into his own.

Lettuce get Greg Monroe here next year. :banderas:

:eat:
:obama:

But if the Spur or Bulls fukk around & Kiwi or Butler dont take their deals. I would want us to go after one of them.

To keep both UD and birdman healthy I think it should depend on match up. Hamilton has look good so far and has earn himself some meaningful minutes.

It going to be hard for spo to figure out we haven't even seen Granger yet. I think Granger would of been the starting stretch 4 if not hurt. Shawne williams is not evening playing I think if UD granger and Mcroberts are not hurt at the start of the season.

I just dont want Granger's minutes to come at the expense of Ennis' development

we can use granger as a stretch 4 and put ennis at the 3 ? :ld:

or go tall and use an alternate 2nd unit with

rio/napier - ennis -granger -UD/Williams- Birdman/hamilton
:ehh:
