Good breakdown of the changes between the two games. FO4 looks fine to me.

The fukk. :what:

Fallout is one of the most "complete" games released this year. And Bethesda actually has a good track record with DLC. You get plenty of bang for your buck.

But I'm sure you will be stanning the next Playstation game that only lasts 8 hours, and offers tons of useless DLC skins and weapons. :martin:

Right, oh its ok to pay $60 for a game that has a 6 hour story and like 6 maps online, but its ok so spend another 60 when its all said and done on dlc and extra maps that end up just being an old map from the last game... What do these dudes want us to say, oh you are right I hadn't noticed the bad graphics before you pointed them out and I shold stop playing and boycott the game now...:camby:

Nobody has explained why bethesda should get a pass for terrible gameplay yet though :jbhmm:

Gameplay is fantastic, it's fun and engaging.

If you don't like it, that's one thing, but millions of people really love playing these games, so clearly a lot of people have fun with the gameplay.

It's cool to have your opinion, but it doesn't make it gold. I have so much more fun with this gameplay (running from ghouls/raiders, hiding in the buildings and then popping off on vats after hittin my stimpak) than I did with basically every game i played this year.

The targetting can be wacky on the VATS, it's an imperfect combat system, but it provides such fun moments, the flaws pale in comparison to the joys.

You're missing out breh. It'd take over your life though. So maybe it's a blessing in disguise...:manny:

I wish my game or cards weren't bugged. I really wanna play :mjcry:

I refuse to play Fallout games breh. I once played Fallout 3 for like 8 hours straight and had not scratched the surface of the game or made meaningful progress. I had to catch myself and put the game down. I have a life, I can't be gaming like that as an adult with a family and mad responsibilities. I play games with a story that have a finite beginning and ending.

Yeah, but the universe is so large. How long will I need to play to finish? Exploring vast amounts of desolate environments is an integral part of the game.

IDK just stick to the main mission... Some people has already beaten it...:yeshrug: Someone said about 3 days tops... but that guy probably just stuck to the main storyline hardbody...

I got a fam too, and i find ways to work it in, you can play for an hour here an hour there.

I do agree that these games suck you in though, and with a fam these games are harder to really get into, but with a fam that's true for any game.

Video games, when they're at there best, take you outta your world and bring you into theirs.

What games do you consider conducive to gaming with a family. I personally let my Stepdaughter build my house in Sanctuary Hills, i bring back all the items from the Wasteland and she loves creating new things with em. So i try and find a way to even incorporate my family into my gaming, that way it's not looked at as something that takes me away from family life

Not surprised that this thread took the turn that it did.

Bethesda definitely has their flaws, but to claim that they aren't held to the same standards is ridiculous. Their games get good reviews because the core is always solid. The bugs are annoying to deal with, but as you can see most people are willing to put up with them.

All this bytching from you guys :snoop:

The bugs are never that bad, i`m playing through now, probably about 15-20 hours in, haven't experience anything that buggy at all, i`m sure i will though.

It never ruins the game though
