The credit card scam has been around BK since the early 00s. Hell in NYC. Its not new.

Credit scams been out as long as credit cards been out lol

I'm saying it's really bad right now maybe at peak levels. There's so many ways to crack cards. There's a certain allure and glorification associated with scamming right now among NY youth. Like L&HH said the rap songs and web series in the hood all talk about scamming. There's a certain dress code that scammers rock with and lingo used.

Back then nikkas used to say crack dealers determined what gear was hot in the hood I feel like right now the scammers are the ones doing that.

I remember the GS9 mixtape had the whole song out about scamming.

Exactly. You could get a affordable hi/lo co read write scanner way back in the early 90s. Might have know someone who was doing IDs with them

Breh, aint nobody in law enforcement doing all that shyt to catch these low level dudes. I don't think folks realize how much lazy cops are in real life. If the shyt aint blatantly obvious or it aint a murder they're not gonna waste time chasing it. Even still they could always say it's just entertainment.

brooklyn is the mecca off credit card scams right now. i think some BMW dealers gonna close if the feds really crack down on the scams

podcast reminds me of my scamming days 10+ years ago, I was never as committed as the folks in this podcast and this was right before the CC shyt really blew up

Honestly for me and this is going to sound strange as fuk i never cared about the money I liked the rush of getting away with it

but boy the money, you never realize how poor you are until you walk into a house and someone's bedroom is wall to wall money, I'm talking about no bed, no clothes in the closet, nothing just air wrapped bundles 5ft tall from the back to the entrance


or the first time I seen dudes walk off the car lot with 5 back to back 745s bimmers when they first came out with the new wide body

the time dudes had a FedEx 16 wheeler in the projects


all these are alleged claims

Clone them, give it a pin, and get money from ATMs & banks allegedly

The people I knew wouldn't get cash directly but would just making a killing purchasing and reselling stuff and I don't mean just clothes neither, when Blu ray players first dropped I go to the money house from my first post go down to the basement they got 300 Sony blu Ray players down there, sold each of those for $100 a pop, things were all gone in a long weekend, that's what I allegedly dealt with, fencing stuff off

Swiping cards was really big too, that's when you know a chick who works at a store you swipe once for a purchase of $200 - $500 but walk off with a couple of grand worth of stuff


again this was allegedly 10+ years ago and things have evolved since them
