Yeah once you get above the tree line (around 10,000 to 11,000 ft above sea level), shyt is just different.

Hell I remember going to Denver and thinking "this isn't that bad." We drove out to some spot near Vail.....altitude was around 8,500 ft or maybe 9,000. Just going up a few flights of stairs felt climbing a skyscraper.

Vail is way up there. Once you get west of Denver, it gets real.

The highest town in North America is Alma CO.
