Super corrupt. Human beings can adapt to a lot over millions of years. But humans weren’t meant to live that far up….yet. Those companies just count the money and shrug their shoulders. Being that high up is amazing.

The Andes mountains is filled with towns in the Alteplano(high plains). But this is the highest of them all ON EARTH!! And this is a URBAN town. Like Urban-Urban, for its 50k population size. They got whole night clubs and bars and cafes and markets and police station and brothels and sex trafficking all up above the clouds, like Figueroa on Mt.Olympus. Those rogue mining companies are robbing these ppl and creating chaos with no oversight and red tape. Even the ppl born and raised their have a shorter life expectancy due to having thiccer blood. The reporter was suffering the whole trip/documentary.

Yeah once you get above the tree line (around 10,000 to 11,000 ft above sea level), shyt is just different.I wouldn’t mind hiking up and coming down, but to live where nothing lives,
Hell I remember going to Denver and thinking "this isn't that bad." We drove out to some spot near Vail.....altitude was around 8,500 ft or maybe 9,000. Just going up a few flights of stairs felt climbing a skyscraper.
