His shyt is always corny at the beginning of an arc, because he gotta set the story up.

The rules dump chapters are always lame until 15 chapters later when an obscure sentence about a rule comes back up. This little run felt extra exposition heavy to me for some reason though and the action scenes didn't feel like there were any real threats to the cast yet. ToG is at it's best when you're worried that anyone can die but the smaller cast this arc makes that less likely until we get further in imo.

Looks like we'll get the Jahad reveal next, hopefully that picks it up. Koon meeting his family seems like it SHOULD give us some interesting ish, but so far
I liked the part with Koon and his sister being his sworn enemy. It does look like they got some targaryan incest going on in their family though

Definitely seems like we're gonna get more background on Koon. That random Rak image on the wall is interesting too, that ish is bound to come back because of the way SIU highlighted it. Plus I'm hoping Jahad looks like Wangnan.
Yeah funny that Rak may be truly as important as he makes out.
I'm interested in this thing with Jahad changing and Eduan not trusting him when he came back.
Did anyone catch that when they showed Jahad there was the same noise that appears whenever they show Karaka? That "Krrrrrrrr" sound.
There are some similarities but it's hard to tell.
