Ehh its more for a lack of a better word in the genre,but with that said I thinkit goes without explanation....even people who only fuked wit em after he died still hear the music and know he ain't strictly on the one sided tip at all and is complex....people who don't even know that much I say who cares what they see pac as,those who need to know I think know what pac stood for or will find out if they listen to the radio and don't live under a rock lol....Cube wuz more revolutionary than Pac in his music but is suprisingly mocked more for sum reason......but I still put him in the gangsta rap category over anything else too.
I think its just understood all gangsta rappers aren't created equal....same with trap rappers,sum trap rappers rap about the pifalls and down sides to slangin,and have a concious....others do nuthin but glorify the drug game.
...maybe concious gangsta rapper is a better term
...can't put em in the concious category
