The Top 3 Animes of all times

I disagree. Only reason that's being stated is because it follows the manga more than the OG series, not because the animé itself is heads and shoulders above anything else created. If you'd asked those same people the question of which animé is the best of all-time a few years ago, they'd have all replied Naruto or Bleach or DBZ. Basically, FMA:B is just what's hot NOW, not of all-time.

I hate to admit it, but that title has to go to Akira with Fist of the North Star a close second due to nostalgia and my own personal bias.​

Have you watched fist of the North Star recently? I saw it back in the days and I thought it was good then I watched it last year and thought it was terrible..

Naruto and Bleach don't rate that highly on those sites. never have. One Piece yeah but Naruto and Bleach have always hovered around 7s on Anibd.
one thing about Anidb and this is how i can tell its not mostly teens is most shonen and shojo series unless they're actually really good rate like crap. most of the high rated stuff is Josei or seinen. they really shyt on harem animes.

i've watch many anime i normally wouldn't watch just cause it gets a high ranking on there and pretty much on the 1-10 scale anything that's above a 6 is decent and anything above a 7 is good. all the shyt that has 9s on anidb is very good.

As a general rule, I tend not to be much of a follower. So, I'll watch anything if the story sounds a bit appealing, if I've already read the manga or not. Hell, I found Robotech completely by accident and was hooked from the first episode.​

to a certain respect the most popular shyt is gonna get rated the most. i watched stuff like Nodame Cantabile and Clannad from looking at their ratings and was plesantly surprised.

the top 30 on that site is pretty solid but we're in the age of cats downloading anime so once you start going back into the 80s era anime not a lot of people have seen that in comparison.

Man, those sites have been around when anime was bigger about 10 years ago and they've always been iffy to me.

There's no way someone can tell me Gintama is the 2nd greatest anime series of all time and have seen more than 10 series. And I fukks with that series.

I'm not saying these lists are bad they're just too inconsistent to be gospel. That top 30 has some legit shows but all that new stuff just screams "I've only watched these and some other top 10 list."

That's not to say FMABH wasn't a great anime cause it was.
