90s anime was def the best era..that's when anime feature films were at the top of the game..manga entertainment was untouchable...also Viz for TV series..

That whole list is shōnen and Josei anime..ranked by teenagers who have no clue and don't backtrack and dig for old anime in the 70s-90s...you guys are missing out on a lot of dope anime.. @Dafunkdoc_Unlimited knows the deal..he's from the old skool..

I disagree. Only reason that's being stated is because it follows the manga more than the OG series, not because the animé itself is heads and shoulders above anything else created. If you'd asked those same people the question of which animé is the best of all-time a few years ago, they'd have all replied Naruto or Bleach or DBZ. Basically, FMA:B is just what's hot NOW, not of all-time.

I hate to admit it, but that title has to go to Akira with Fist of the North Star a close second due to nostalgia and my own personal bias.​
