Jordan and Pippen treated Kukoc like Bron and Wade treat Mario Chalmers.

Damn those Bulls teams were pretty stacked at the 2/3 positions Jordan, Pippen, Kukoc, Harper :whoo:

They said he was the Euro Magic when he was coming into the league. Definitely underrated.

:wtf:

Kukoc actually contributed significantly to those Bulls teams, I don't think Chalmers was ever even considered for any individual award.

EDIT: When they played against him in the Olympics was a different story, but that was before they were actually teammates.

He was a very solid offensive player, not much of a rebounder or defender tho. I remember the game winner he hit against the Knicks in the '94 playoffs. Pip was mad that the play wasn't designed for him so he pouted on the bench while Toni went out there and hit the big shot. I understand Pip being mad since MJ was gone and he wanted to be the guy to take the last shot but Phil wanted Toni to get it and ended up being right...

Kukoc hit a bunch of big shots during their second 3-peat run as well, dude was pretty damn clutch.

What are you talking about? Do you REMEMBER when they played together? Jordan was CONSTANTLY screaming at Kukoc. Phil was CONSTANTLY screaming at Kukoc.

I'm not saying Chalmers is a better player, I'm just saying they were both the whipping boy (so to speak) for their teams.

I'm not talking about their games (even though Chalmers contributed significantly in the Finals last season), I'm just talking about how they were treated by their teammates (and for the same reason, the leaders of their respective teams expected more out of them).

Kuckoc was one of the most versatile big men in the 90s. He could hit from outside with consistency and drive to the basket. An underrated player in era for sure.

#MooseMouthMtharuga beat me to it, he was kind of like a more polished version of Hedo Turkoglu. Dirk has a similar style to him as well, but with a lot more talent.
