Not really trades but waiver pickups:

Thoughts on dumping Jeremy Hill or Steven Jackson for either Jerick McKinnon or Mike Glennon (I have 0 backups in a 2 QB league and have Luck/Cutler who haven't hit byes yet).

My reasoning is Gio > Asiata so Jerick will see more opps and as far as Glennon..............he's literally the ONLY starting QB left on my waiver wire and I feel I need the insurance.

Post your full squad. Between the two options you stated, I'd dump Jackson. Need to know what other QB options are on the waiver wire to tell you whether you needed to snag Glennon now.

Dudes still buying into this yahoo forced McKinnon hype...

Even after Zimmer came out and said Asiata is the starter for the forceable future and McKinnon has a lot of work to do cats still want to believe a change is coming...:mjlol:

I dont really know how much clearer shyt needs to be so the McKinnon cult understands dude is the COP...Stop overthinking this shyt...Only reason McKinnon got the amount of carries he did last week is because ATL is trash and the Vikings have a Thursday night game meaning a short week...Asiata was on the field on every big down including 4th and goal...He also racked up 20 carries...

Asiata is getting 15-20 touches a game + GL work and working the majority of the passing downs...Just because he isn't as talented doesn't mean he can't produce...Dude has produced in every game he's started in his career, he isn't a fluke...Simply put, its not pretty but Asiata gets the job done...The coaches see and aknowledge that but yahoo keeps having y'all believing in a 80 yard TD or nothing COP...

Believe what you want though...I'll keep starting the guy the coaches like and that keeps producing...

QB: Luck/Cutler
RB: Forte, Lynch, Spiller, S-Jax, Hill, Knile Davis
WR: Cobb, Hilton, Tate, Hopkins, Boldin, Torrey Smith
TE: Olsen
K: Walsh
D: SD & Cincy

There are literally ZERO options on the wire at QB. Stanton & Orton were picked up yesterday. Glennon is the only starter left unless TEN throws Locker back out there.

I'd drop one of your defenses for Glennon then. And drop one of Torrey or Boldin for McKinnon. You don't need two defenses

The Rotoworld guys are the worst :snoop: They're still my go-to fantasy info site, but they act like Asiata stole their girlfriend or something

I was gonna drop SD but I really like the NYJ matchup this week (Cincy is @ NE) and I only picked up the Chargers D for last week's game due to Cincy being on a bye. I was gonna drop 'em next week.

Torrey's been stinking it up but I still have hope he'll turn it around.

I see McKinnon is either very hyped or very hated so I'm still on the fence but maybe Boldin would be the way to go. I only claimed him off waivers cause my WR corp was thin but with the way Hopkins has been playing he's pretty expendable.

I'm also still hopeful some QB's will hit the wire once teams finish their byes.

I see what you're saying, but you're making my point for me regarding carrying two defenses. If you're hesitant to play the Cincy defense against NE (who has struggled offensively against everyone except Minnesota), you're simply treating them as a matchup play like any other defense that is probably out on waivers. You might as well drop Cincy then, and start SD against the Jets this week and against Oakland next week.

Happy Wednesday EK!! If Ponder is the QB, is Asiata still playable over Crowell or Richardson? Love the chat!!

Oh, I don't think Asiata was playing well because Bridgewater/Cassel was the QB. I don't think it matters much. Asiata isn't that good anyway. And yes, I'd use Asiata over those other fellows.

Garcon for Hopkins (trade's a wash to me...Giants pass D is solid, so Garcon will have better days)

Megatron and R. Jennings for Big Ben, Sproles, C. Patterson, and J. Cameron (Calvin/Jennings side wins by a ton here)

Glennon & Gates for Hopkins (stick with Hopkins)

The hate for my dude Asi is comedy breh...

All I keep hearing is "plodder" and 3 YPC...

Check these stats out...

Matt Asiata: 47/159 = 3.4 ypc
Monte Ball: 49/165 = 3.4 ypc
Gio Bernard: 55/185 = 3.4 ypc

Both Ball and Gio were/are considered borderline RB1...Granted Ball has an excuse, the defenses he's been running against have been ridiculous against the run and it won't get any easier for dude anytime soon but they still got him down as a RB1...but Asiata apparently is a plodding TD dependent RB3/FLEX...Nevermind the fact dude has already dropped a double digit game in week 3 without a TD (PPR) but lets disregard that and keep talking about how amazing his backups combine was...:beli:

I was offered DeMarco Murray and Percy Harvin for AJ Green and Jordy Nelson

What do you guys think?

Only reason I would consider it is because drafting AP has really fukked me over at running back, but I'd hate to give up two quality receivers in a league that requires at least 3 WR every week.
