I was offered CJ Spiller, Cecil Shorts, and Brandon Myers for Giovani Bernard and Jordan Cameron. It's PPR with 2 flex spots and I have Jimmy Graham.

This is the epitome of buy low, sell high, right?

My mind is telling me to pull the trigger, but my gut is saying no for some reason. Is there a precedent for an rb like Spiller turning it around after three straight terrible weeks?

I wouldn't make that trade...CJ Spiller will definitely turn it around and get a ton of touches and put up a lot of points

It might not have been clear, I'm the one with Gio and Cameron. They've both been starting in my flex spots, and I don't know if it's better to go for the proven quantity this season, or get the better talent in Spiller

oh my bad...i reread it and it was clear...you said you were offered CJ. I'd do the trade. CJ is a great buy low guy right now especially when you can get him for Cameron and Gio. As good as Cameron is I like Shorts too...the fact its PPR I like Shorts because he gets so many targets. With you having Graham already, I'd definitely do it.

Just proposed a few trades in a couple of my leagues.

One league I have Graham, Cameron and Julius Thomas as my TEs, so I offered Graham for Calvin straight up.

Other league I have Wilson as my starting QB, with Romo and Hoyer as my backups. I'm trying to deal Romo, so I targeted a couple teams with iffy QB situations.

One guy has RG3 and Luck as his QBs, so I offered Romo and Alfred Morris for McCoy and Ben Tate. The other proposal is Romo for Demaryius Thomas straight up. Kaep is that guy's only QB.

Think any of these deals will get accepted? :ld:

The Calvin deal is pretty even to me. That has a possibility, but it depends on who his TE is.

I don't see either of your Romo deals happening. RGIII/Luck are on the same level as Romo (probably better even), and Shady is the 2nd best RB in fantasy to own. Kaep is better than Romo too, so the Thomas deal would be rejected by me. :manny:

He has Vernon Davis and Heath Miller as his TEs. Davis is hurt right now; who knows if it'll be lingering...

Kaep's been ass so far though and that's his only QB. Figured it was worth a shot, especially with all SF's receiving options hurt. Romo's been pretty good so far. :manny:

Had an interesting trade. standard league 2 RBs/2WRS with the flex (non-TE). I'm stacked at RB due to a trade preseason but i ended up with McFadden, Trent Richardson, Sproles, and Steven Jackson. My WRs are Randall Cobb and Garcon but with both their bye weeks coming up I was stuck with lookin at Greg Jennings as a starter. I asked for a WR and some guy offered me Victor Cruz for S-Jax...not only did I jump on that trade....

i'm playing that guy this week...its weakening his line-up b/c he's going to have to start a crappy WR now. thought i'd share...

Kaep without Davis is kinda like Brady without Gronk. The Seattle game was understandable (ain't no QB outside of Peyton maybe that'll put in work in that stadium). Kaep will turn things around.

If I'm the Davis owner, I probably don't trade Calvin for Jimmy. I would have invested a fairly high pick in Vernon, so I'd probably want to give it a couple more weeks before making a big move like that.

I got offered Jason Witten for Mike Vick. Should I do it?

12 team league

I have Peyton Manning, Dez Bryant, Eric Decker, Sproles, Ridley, Fred Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Tony Gonzales, etc. My weakest production has been RB and TE so far this year. TEs can play flex in our league.

Of course. You'd never sit Peyton for Vick. You can just pick up whoever from free agency when Peyton has his bye.

So I've got Jordan Cameron and Gronkowski. Cameron looks like a legit top-5 TE. Think I should sell now for a top-10-15 WR, or hold to see if he blows up when he comes back. I'm starting Ryan Broyles as my 3rd WR :snoop:, and the waiver wire is empty.
