These kind of steps will give black people an advantage so they can build generational wealth and buy these lands off the white people who only got them through unfair methods to begin with. People who want the land and have proven that they have drive and have succeeded in other projects will be the ones who buy the land and who can make it even more successful. I want situations where black men and women are owners and the white people are working for them knowing that they bought the land instead of just got it from the government. Or at least since Malema calls himself a Marxist, the land ownership should be divided so that the workers who have been there for more than 5 years get a piece of stock or legal ownership in the place they work and new company policies are voted in democratically.

This is clearly a ruse by people who want to just hang on to power. Only a fool tries to motivate black people by their hatred of white people only. The reason Mandela was so successful was because he was more concerned with black empowerment than giving people a vision of white suffering. White people will naturally be at a disadvantage when you tweak the system and make it fair. The ANC has kept fukking up by not doing substantial work to alleviate black poverty. The "fukk y'all I got mine" mentality is strong even in Africa. Don't trust a billionaire to talk to you about equality and making things fair. Their existence by definition is only possible due to unfairness. It makes no sense that a man can have more money than he and his descendants can spend in 5 lifetimes while SOWETO is still a thing. Your billions should come AFTER black people are no longer second class citizens in their own damn country.

Change always comes at a cost. Cacs and their children (plus many c00ns) had to die on their stolen lands in Kenya for independence to be achieved. Land is the most valuable resource... there's no other ways around this. They got it through blood and they'll loose it the same way if they feel entitled to it.

I've no problem with this from a moral standpoint. I just hope it's better planned than the Mugabe land transfer scheme.

What gives me hope is that Ramaphosa has a reputation for pragmatism over emotion and showmanship. He'll need it, Zuma left the fukking house on fire in SA.

I agree and didn't mean to gloss over that. Just wanted to make the point that you can't turn your country around purely by being motivated by hating other people. Hate is enough to get the fire sparked, but if you want to burn the shyt down you have to plan and get the best among you to work together and improve things for other black people. I 100% agree in pan African collaboration and an African Union that is serious about helping other Africans. I was disgusted when I found out the A.U. building was built by the Chinese. That shyt should have been built by Africans collaborating together, even reaching out to black people globally.

Those fukking Chinese were laughing at us the whole time while they built and bugged that building so they can spy on us. They're out here trying to recolonize Africa and people are out here talking about "we'll take the land away from whites" without making sure that the person who gets the land to begin with isn't going to just turn around and sell it when a Chinese with 10 mill offers to buy it.

This new president was exposed to have been collaborating with a wealthy Indian family in South Africa and again, I don't trust billionaires to put black people first. A billionaire president has never actually improved conditions for poor people anywhere in the world. Theres no historical precedent because the super rich aren't interested in having more competition. When you create conditions where black people can do well economically they become a threat. I trust people who have faith in us and want to see us succeed by giving detailed and substantial plans and who are willing to sacrifice some of their own prosperity if it means that all of us as a whole will have the opportunity to get what we want done.
