This is the first movie I saw on beta max back in the day when my mother first got a VCR. It scared me shytless and still holds up today. John Carpenter killed it and this scarred me for a loooong time. That blood test scene..

The 2011 prequel was actually pretty good. Tied the story up to the original nicely.
