I'm not typically one of those adhd cats but Jesus it was slow as hell. Am I bugging? Maybe I had an off night.

You might be. It's by no means fast paced but god damn this show has set a tone for itself very quickly.

I'm not sure if the polar bear we saw is the only monster. The Eskimos seemed scared that if they didn't die in the open some kind of evil spirit would come for their soul.

I'll give it a few more episodes, but if it's just people getting picked off one by one by a polar bear each week I might get bored of it.

Makes sense. Maybe different spirit animals come for different people?

I kind of want to read the book, but I don't want to spoil the show.

The captain is dead and the second in command is making the decisions. Shocked they murked ol boy that quickly though. I honestly thought he was going to make a few more horrible miscalculations based on his penchant for religious hubris before succumbing to his watery grave .

Based on what we see in episode 3, this thing isn't a bear

The eskimo had two ivory charms. They said one was a bear and one was a man, but to me the second one they showed looked elongated like a giraffe. I'm thinking that the "man" creature depicted in the second charm is what attacked them this time. Whatever it is, its big enough to reach down through the top of a tent and pull someone off his feet straight up into the air. Then disappear over a giant ice cliff.

I agree with a comment up above that the show is a little too "British" for me. But it's still holding enough interest to keep watching.

Its hilarious as to how soft and unrealistic the ship's captains are in this show. In real life this Hickey dude would have gotten a thousand lashes and been hanged a dozen times over for so much insubordination.

The dialogue is boring as shyt and theres no build up to anything. I mean even when they set foot and started exploring the ice shyt wasnt even that interesting.
