the haters who think kobe is stupid, just dont realize he understands he's in the twilight of his career, he understands that D12 is a tad feminine with his tendencies.. dont take kobe words as 100% truth just yet. once kobe calls it. sure it obviously is his team. but he's saying that for 2 reasons.
#1 phil jackson taught him how to play mind games to get your best players to be at their best. some guys need to be clowned in front of everyone. other guys need their ego's rubbed. dwight is one of the later. he didnt want to come to los angeles because of the bigman legacy he would have to uphold. ego needs caressing. he didnt want to come here per some rumor about kobe telling him he would be his tyson chandler(aka a hustle guy and nothing more). kobe now gets it. make him FEEL like this is his team. and everyone will still know who's team it is until #24 hangs em up in a couple of years.
#2. he's doing something that shaq SHOULD"VE done for him but never did. hand the team over gently. dont fight it. you're getting older, the young boy is growing up and turning into a monster. let him grow.
