Tariq makes fun of straight black men all of the time. “Dusty nikkas” could be painted as a slur. Why don’t you have the same problem with that?But I agree with what you’re saying to an extent. I do believe there’s an agenda being pushed but at the same time let’s not generalize all black gay men because of it. I listen to Tariq pretty frequently when I commute to my job and he’s always making disparaging comments about gays. On a recent live a few shows back he straight up said “black gays don’t think they’re black” making a general statement. My problem with the term “moist” is that it’s basically a slur and when he’s using it he refers to gay men. And will deflect by saying “moist is not about gays, it’s about blah blah...” but based on the stories he tells moist is always a gay man. The listeners internalize that and will associate “moist” with “bad” and who is to stay they won’t deny another brutha a job because he’s moist/perceived gay
