I finally have a full grasp of understanding that some fans just look at numbers while some others actually watch the games.

I’m the latter. And it frustrates me to read comments from Bulls fans on the social media accounts.

Everyone wants to trade Lavine for goofy ass draft picks.

This dude is growing right before our eyes and we got people only focused on the record.

Lavine will eventually lead us to the playoffs and all those non-watching fans demanding we trade him will act like they were supportive day 1.

shyt like that drives me nuts.

Lavine is our star and we need to build healthy pieces around him. I’m not even worried about big names for the bulls right now.

I just want to see a healthy team around Zach
Yeah, I'm with you 100%. People get so caught up in shuffling the deck or the latest sweepstakes that they forget about the importance of developing your talent. Zack always showed some promise, but if the leap he's taking right now is what we should expect from him with just one year of a quality coach and front office, you'd be crazy to sell him for parts and roll the dice again.

And he's taking the leadership role on his back so Billy and the front office know they can go to war with him. That's priceless, and you don't always get that if you're stuck on chasing shiny new things.

It's dumb. He's elevated into rare territory in terms of scoring which you just can't replace as easily as people seem to think.

You have a 26 year old star, the plan should be to surround him with talent and add another star, not to trade him in hopes of developing a star.

Players have been singing his praises, people around the league are taking notice.

Our franchise STILL hasn't fully recovered from trading an in-his-prime 26 year old star that had his best ball ahead of him. Thankfully, AK seems smart enough not to make the same mistake.
