You're prob right....he might could be damn near 20...it just takes one team and he has put up enough pts for one gm to ignore the softness, nonexistent defense, mediocre rebounding and consistent injuries

Lauri is def going to get 20 mill from someone with the market being so weak this off season. Let him go. We might get a team willing to trade for him to get a early look at lauri and a advantage on signing him in the off season. Maybe we get a asset for him. But honestly it's time to move on from lauri and carter jr.
As far as what the rest of this season will be, to be honest when we were healthy I expected at least a spot in the play in tournament. But now with the injuries coming back do I want AK to make moves? Not really. I dont want to sacrifice long term flexibility and opportunities for short term success. Garpax was good for that making deals adding players who eventually just hurt our draft position. Unless we do a trade and the piece we get back is a long term piece. Other than that we do have to get a couple bodies just for the sake of depth and not killing players with minutes but I'm fine with playing the year out having lavine coby and pwill in the fold and a shyt load of cap space plus a great pick in the draft. Trades can hurt our cap space. So minor moves or just stand pat.

My main beef with AK is that they dont bring in prospects to try to find that diamond in the rough.
Houston, Miami etc bring in undrafted dudes and G Leaguers at the end of bench to see who might be a future contributor. Why not try some ppl out and see who might fit. Instead we waste roster spots on Felicio, kornet, Hutchinson and kornet. We have so many holes that we need to constantly churn the roster....bring in 10 day guys and give em 10-15 minutes.....that's how you find the Christian Wood type players.
I'm not in a rush to get 8th seed just to get stomped out in 4.... this year is about evaluating long term plan.
The key to becoming better is making incremental changes and player development and scouting under the radar dudes is major in winning franchises.
AK seems lazy as fukk as far as that goes
Sato, Denzel, Lauri and Thad need to be traded asap asap....

Not only has AK said this is an evaluation year, but we just don't have the roster spots due to contracts. That's a big reason why we went with a draft and stash in the 2nd round. We have to give it some time.
This trade deadline and offseason will start to tell me what he thinks about this roster and is method of building a contender.
